WELCOME TO OUR HOUSE

Every family
has a story.
This is ours.

Our story begins in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, in a blue colonial house more than 125 years old. Our family called it la Casita Azul: the little blue house.

That house is where it all started. It’s where our grandparents gathered everyone around the table, where meals ran long and loud, and where three brothers learned, long before we could see over the counter, that the kitchen is the heart of a home. It’s also where our family’s life in restaurants began, a journey that now spans more than 40 years.

We didn’t stumble into this business. We grew up in it. Carlos, Matías and Mario Suárez learned the craft the way families pass things down: by doing it, side by side, night after night.

Casa Blu is our next chapter. We brought everything the little blue house taught us — the warmth, the generosity, the stubborn insistence on doing things right — to Coconut Point in Estero, Florida. Our food is inspired by the Mediterranean, and nearly all of it is touched by the fire of our wood-burning ovens. Our kitchen is fully open, because we’re proud of what happens in it. And we don’t cut corners: our cooking starts with premium, fresh ingredients.

Most of all, we’re here. Carlos leads the kitchen. Matías runs the bar and the dining room. Mario runs the business. At Casa Blu, you’re not dining at a restaurant a family happens to own. You’re sitting at our family’s table.

Welcome to our house.

WHY CASA BLU

A name that
brings us home.

Casa Blu is named after la Casita Azul, the 125-year-old blue colonial house in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where our family’s story began.

Casa is home: the warmth and traditions we grew up with, and the welcome we want you to feel. Blu is the color of that house, and the blue of the Mediterranean Sea that inspires our kitchen.

Our roots and our cooking, in two words.
